CONFLICT MINERALS Tesla has a zero-tolerance policy towards human rights abuses in our supply chain. Many Tesla products, like most electronics, contain minerals such as tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold, often referred to as “3TG”. While these minerals can be found in deposits all around the world, they also exist in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and surrounding areas. Tesla’s Human Rights and Conflict Minerals Policy is in place to ensure that Tesla's products do not directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups through mining or mineral trading in the DRC and its adjoining countries.
